Description

The Grief Recovery Workshop is an interactive, participatory workshop. You will have a chance each week to share your thoughts on the reading, the homework and the process you are going through towards recovery from your loss.

We will be using a time-proven program, developed over several decades of work and research, following the Grief Recovery Method® developed by John James and Russell Friedman and honed over the decades.

Join us in exploring your grief and finding release and closure in this open yet tight-knit program.

In this workshop, we will

  • Explore grief - What it is and what it isn't. What is helpful; what is counterproductive. How we avoid dealing with grief
  • Reflect on ways our spirituality shows up during our grieving and recovery
    process
  • Consider how one exaggerates relationship qualities (enshrinement or bedeviling)
  • Travel across your life, identifying your losses and your wins
  • Start and complete your recovery from the Grief which is most present
